Sandy Banks Care Home, is a purpose built, 39 bedded home located in Leyland, we sit at the heart of the local community. 

At Sandy Banks, we prioritise dignity and self-worth for all our residents. We strive to give them excellent quality of life, as defined by our residents. Sandy Banks is our residents’ home. We encourage our residents’ personal growth, while we meet their medical, clinical and physical needs. We boost their social connections, individual dignity, and personal preferences, all the while provide friendship and care.

Far more devastating than physical illness, is lack of purpose. Studies have shown over and over that residents who are engaged in activities that they find meaningful are far more likely to retain mental acuity, physical health, and emotional well- being. At Sandy Banks our Activities Coordinator ensures that there are a variety of fun, stimulating and inclusive activities for all to participate in.
